Team 1 Blue - Final Presentation Speeches

Sally - Room

Hi I’m Sally. The rooms in America is colder than the room in China. For example, the outside temperature in America is about 25 degrees Celsius, but the indoor temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius. It’s nearly 5 degrees Celsius. That’s a big difference isn’t it? In China, rooms are generally used separately. In America, rooms are combined. This saves space so the room is bigger. This is the biggest difference.

Harry - Competition

My name is Harry and I'm talking about the contests. My favorite round was the team round. Thomas is very smart and wonderful however he did not get a single question correct. This shows that an individual is not stronger than a team. To get questions correct you must have teamwork. Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork! You must have a team as one and one as a team!

Jason - America/China

I'm Jason and I am talking about America. I think the campus is very nice. It is different from china because there are many animals here. I saw squirrels, deer, and rabbits. There are a lot of trees and it's beautiful. The weather isn't as nice in China. The same is camps in China also have activities, sports and shows. I enjoyed sleeping outside and playing soccer.

Dylan - Lectures

Hi my name is Dylan. The lectures were very different than China. They were very fun. Also you got to talk about the problems with the other students if you needed help. In China, you need to have good posture while in class. But in America you can drink cola and speak to friends if you need help with a exercise.

Tony - Food

My name is Tony and I'm going to talk about the food. My favorite food here is hamburgers. I like them because I eat a lot of KFC and McDonalds at home. My least favorite food is salad. I don't like salad because there are too many vegetables and I don't like vegetables. I really like Western food and have eaten a lot of it. But I miss Chinese food like dumplings. I still think Western food is delicious and I will eat more of it today!

Royee - Talent Show

Hi my name is Royee and I am going to be talking about the talent show. I took part in the talent show and I thought it was very good. I liked listening to the piano songs because they were very beautiful. I also liked listening to the singing because I knew the songs very well. We also had ice cream.

Lucy - Friends

My name is Lucy and I am talking about friends. I made a lot of friends here but my best friend is Strawberry. She is the same age as me and helped me a lot. When I didn’t understand the teachers talking in the lectures she helped me with the problems and with what they were saying. I believe she will not only be a friend here but in my whole life.

Jerry - Movie Night

I’m Jerry and I’m going to talk about the movie night. It was a lot of fun. We watched The Incredibles so it was very exciting and no one fell asleep. Also the floors were clean and we ate popcorn and iced tea. We all enjoyed the movie.

Dipsy - Field Trip

My name is Dipsy and I'm going to talk about the field trip we went on yesterday. I learned a lot. I found the science show very interesting. It was cool to see the nitrogen freeze the balloon. We also went inside a giant heart. You could see all the parts of the heart inside. I thought it was interesting but also EW. We also saw an IMAX show about the ocean. I learned about different animals and that we must save the ice to protect animals’ homes. Last we went to the gift shop. I thought it was SO expensive! I bought a cube that was $18 but in China that's over 100 yen.

Thomas - Host

Hi my name is Thomas and we are the blue team 1. We are going to be talking about the camp and what we liked and disliked about it.

Overall I liked this camp and thought it was very good. I will tell my friends to come next year.

Strawberry - Counselors

Hi my name is strawberry. I am going to be talking about my two counselors, Olivia and Marissa. They are very playful and like to have a lot of fun with us. They love to eat and sit with us. They are very cute and I like to put bunny ears on them. They try to learn Chinese but don’t do very well.
